It was round 2 for the boxing match against Tuan Gemuk literally at Cantonment on Sunday. Sharks knew that this will be another bruising encounter and they weren't far off from the prediction as Tuan Gemuk notched a 2-0 victory as Sharks were outmuscled and outscored for the most of the proceedings.

Sharks started the match nervously as Tuan Gemuk came hard and fast and were winning the ball off with sheer brute force. The team never really get going as they were placed on the backfoot and with the number of opportunities presented to Tuan Gemuk via the corners, it wasn't a surprise when they took the lead after some poor marking at the far post. Shortly after the restart, Naoki who probably the only one creating problems on the other end had to be taken off when he aggravated his groin. Short of any creative spark with Soerensen totally marked out of the game, Sharks were finding hard to conjure any opportunities upfront as the defense were tested on numerous occasion. Just before halftime, Tuan Gemuk notched their second after some slack defending by the Sharks. Second half started much similar to the first with Sharks looking lethargic in every department as Tuan Gemuk were having a field day in the office and restricted the boys in yellow with efforts which hardly troubled the opposition custodian. With Sharks pushing man upfront to get back into the game, Tuan Gemuk were presented with a couple of opportunities but they were unable to capitalise as the game ended 2-0 in favor of Tuan Gemuk.

The manager commented, 'The team lost out on the physical battle particularly in midfled. Results aside and fairplay to the opposition and while some of the challenges from both teams are plain ugly, the referee weren't much of a help with some poor decision yet again. The most notable was the incident in the second half when Sharks defender Zhuoneng was manhandled and kicked on the ground, that's just poor.'
