Thanks from Management Sharks manager wishes to thank all players who have participated in the league.
He said ‘Without the support of the players who came week in, week out, rain or shine, our participation was impossible. The league have made most of us mentally stronger and eventhough we have achieved what we set out to do before the start in the season, I’m sure most of us knows that we can do much better in some areas of our game. We had our ups and down in some periods of the competition and while a couple of us preferred to jump ship, some of us stayed to steer the ship to where it’s final destination was bound and at the end of the day, closer bonds and ties were borne during defeat and victory. Let us look forward to our next adventure and hopefully, more bonds and ties will be forged. At the same time, I wouldn’t mind a couple more wins in the process,’ the manager grinned. For the teams which competed in the league, the Sharks manager commented, ‘Overall it was a league well-organised with the support of teams with great sportsmanlike attitude towards the competition and in the process, friendships were formed. But at times, I’m quite disappointed with some teams which left the league in a lurch but I’m sure they have their reasons. Hopefully we will meet again on the field so that we can renew our friendly rivalry on the field’. |
