Central Park finished the season with a thumping 7-0 victory over Suave Fusion to cement their place for promotion next season. A brace from both Naoki Fukushima and Aaron Huang plus a goal each from the likes of Heng Li, Brendan and Muzzammil ensured the victory as they await the result between Playouts Reunited and Afifi United next weekend with both teams having everything to play for with the former gunning for victory to finish champions while the latter's victory will ensure them pipping Madcats United for the promotional playoff spot.

The game's focal attention however was on Japanese winger Naoki Fukushima whom made a friendly bet with the manager on finishing the year on 25 goals after notching 22 goals in 2007. That target however was never in danger of being met with the winger's meagre 7 goals before the start of the game. When he was brought down in the box and took it upon himself to take the resulting penalty and his tame shot aimed directly towards the relief custodian, that sums up the season he was having as Sharks yet again rue the opportunity for the 2nd consecutive game to score from the spot. Naoki made amends shortly afterwards when his pass found Heng Li in acres of space and the forward made no mistake from close range. Four minutes later, the role reversed as Naoki notched his team's second with the right foot volley into the roof of the net and he added his team's third of the game when his glancing header off a cross from Heng Li on the right found the back of the net. A goal each from Aaron Huang and Brendan assisted by Jensen and Jeremy respectively ensured the team had a commanding 5-0 lead at half-time.

The opposition however came out of their shell in the second-half despite playing with 8 men and they were unlucky to score on the break with Sharks defense in disarray. On the other end, chances went begging with Naoki looking for his hat-trick when his low drive missing the empty net after the custodian was easily side-footed by the marauding winger who collected the ball in midfield and bulldozed his way into the box. Alas, Sharks could only muster another 2 goals from Muzzammil and Aaron in the 2nd half as the game ended 7 - 0 for the boys in yellow.

The manager said after the game, 'The team just had to make count the chances in front of goal. At the same time, the club thanked each and every player for the year as we look forward to the new season in the coming year.'
