Central Park International swept away Raptors 9-0 on Sunday over at Chinese Recreation Club, aptly named by most teams as the 'Killing Fields' due to its atrocious conditions as the team looked to finish the season strongly. A hat-trick by Nadiman, a double from Robert and Naoki plus a goal each from Larsen and Zachary ensured that the team kept the top two teams in their division on their toes despite several key players out for game due to the festive period.

Sharks took the lead after just four minutes when Vikings import, Larsen latched on to some poor defending by Raptors to give his team the lead. Nadiman then notched Sharks second off a pass from Naoki in the 13th minute before Larsen was brought down in the box with the resulting penalty converted by Robert. Shortly afterwards, Larsen again provided the impetus for Nadiman to score his second as Sharks were by now four goals up after 30 minutes in the first half. A quickfire double by Robert and Nadiman completing his hatrick just before half-time gave the team a commanding 6-0 lead with the former, scoring the goal of the game. Flicking the ball over the defense, he strode pass the backline and finished the move he started. In the second-half, Sharks increased their lead with 3 more goals as Naoki got a double with Zac getting one for the team to complete a 9-0 victory over the hapless Raptors who never was comfortable playing on the unplayable pitch. Highlight of the second half was Robert's missed opportunity to grab his hat-trick after his shot clipped the bar while Kim, yet another Vikings import was unlucky not to get his name on the scoresheet when he volleyed wide at the edge of the box. 

The manager said, 'We made the best of what we had today and the boys toiled hard for the win despite missing several familiar faces for the fixture. At this point, we just have to get over one more game next weekend before we welcome the rest back in the new year for the penultimate game.'
