Killer Whales v International

Killer Whales

vs

Central Park International

Match Report

There was goal galore in the match between Central Park International and Killer Whales as the Sharks registered an 11-2 win on Sunday. A hatrick by the trio of Soerense, Jason, Iskandar and a goal each from Naoki and Robert gave Killer Whales no way back in the match as the Sharks looked to rack up the goals which could be telling come end of the season. Sharks started with Iskandar scoring after just 4 minutes but Killer Whales equalised shortly afterwards off a flighted free-kick. With the game tied at 1-1, Sharks moved up a gear when Naoki scored from a header off a corner by Chris, one of the six assist he made in the game. The third came from a Soerensen special, collecting a ball from Chris, toying with his marker and finishing it with a bottom corner short. Just before half-time, Robert scored his team fourth. The second half saw the likes of Soerensen, Iskandar and Jason completing their hattrick before Killer Whales added another goal off a free-kick again to make the final score 11-2.

The beaming manager said, 'To play in such a condition was already a challenge, to score 11 is simply fantastic. The opposition though didn't stop playing despite the scoreline and they do deserve a pat on the back for just simply enjoying the game.'
