Heavily criticised for their lack of conviction upfront in their last game, Sharks finished the match in emphatic fashion as they ran Cool Joes ragged for the duration of the game. Sharks were expecting a tough affair after both teams drew in their first encounter which was later overturned in the Joe's favor due to some technicalities but there were no arguments this time round.

Sharks made 5 changes to their lineup but the surprise selection has to be Aaron Huang's inclusion not in goal, but upfront partnering Michael. Team captain Jeremy returned to the lineup after last week absence and with Lutz not making the game at the eleventh hour due to illness, Syafiee retained his place despite having a bad outing last weekend. Sharks had a couple of chances to go in front early in the game but it seemed that the manager's selection in putting Aaron upfront was a mistake as he missed several openings when he took one touch too much. Early game jitters subsided however as Michael put the Sharks in front for the opener. Sharks continued their good work and were rewarded by three more goals from Kit, Aaron and trialist Alastair Colthard. The trialist continued his impressive debut in the second-half with another goal at the start of the second-half before Aaron completed his hattrick with an assist from Jeremy and Jeffrey. Captain Jeremy scored Shark's eighth of the game with a well-placed freekick at the edge of the area before Michael completed a memorable afternoon neat finish after being put thru by Alastair.

The manager was unmistakably beaming from ear-to-ear with the unexpected avalanche of goals. 'We expected a much tougher match but avenging the 3 points loss in our season opener was always at the back of the player's mind. It's just Sharks luck to catch the Joes on a bad day. Everything just fell into place.'
