Central Park bounced back from defeat last weekend as they notched a double over Gogooryo in the return fixture with a 5-1 victory over at Clementi Stadium. A double from Isaac and a goal each from Heng Li, Norazman and Fadley was enough to give the Sharks a much deserved victory in the scorching weather.

Sharks started with a makeshift side yet again but the defense clearly showed no nerves in the opening exchanges whereby their Korean counterpart created the more clear-cut opportunities in the half. The team had to wait till the 30th minute before they calm their nerves with chief striker Heng Li opening his accounts with a well-placed shot from outside the box. His counterpart Isaac added another just before half-time after some hardwork from Jeffrey. He would have scored on his own just before Sharks scored their second goal when his shot somehow bewildered the opposition defense but they were saved by the post. At half-time, Sharks took a well-deserved 2-0 lead.

The 2nd half though barely started when they added their third. A good cross from Izwan found Isaac who put pressure on their defense but Norazman was on hand to put the loose ball into the back of the net. The next few minutes proved decisive as Isaac was gifted an opportunity to score his second of the game but his header was just wide with the custodian off his line. However there were no denying the striker when he took full advantage from some terrible goalkeeping when he added his team's fourth goal of the game from close range. Midway into the second-half, Sharks went for more goals and were rewarded when Fadley was on hand to finish a neat move from midfield. Chances went begging for the Sharks as they failed to add to their tally while Gogooryo got their consolation in injury time.

The manager said, 'It was a tired performance from the boys in the first half and they were lucky not to be punished on several occasions. Nonetheless, they made their chances count in the second half and that's what count.'
