Central Park v Getz Utd

After almost a month since their last competitive game, Sharks returned to league proper against local car club Getz United which have gone on a 6 games losing streak before the game.

Despite Getz abysmal record so far this season, the Sharks proceeded with caution against wounded opposition. It wasn't long before the floodgates opened after Suhaime nicked in from close range after Li's shot was parried into his path. A goal shortly afterwards from captain Jeremy and a couple from Li meant that the Sharks held a comfortable 4-0 lead going into halftime. Second-half were no different when Getz seemed to run out of gas with a double from Michael after his long absence and a goal from Jeffrey who scored his first ever goal for the Sharks. Getz Utd had to rue their chance of getting something from the game when they were awarded a penalty but the resulting kick ended up crashing the post. With everyone putting in an extra gear for the game, it was a hard choice to make for the Man of The Match.

After much deliberation, it was decided that the award goes to Kelvin Tan for his no-nonsense and swash-buckling defending and coupled that with his first assist in a Sharks jersey.
