Match Report

Sharks took the opportunity of their break from ESPZEN with a non-competitive game which includes seven trialists as they look to bolster the team for their remaining fixtures in ESPZEN and more importantly, the Islandwide League which is slated to start late October. The match perhaps will be remembered on how one turns from villain to hero. That is none other than Mr Utility, Kelvin Tan. Giving away a penalty early in the game was not the start he was looking for but he made that up by scoring a double, one off a free-kick in the first half and he nailed his second and Sharks final goal with a cool finish abeit an unguarded goal.

Trialist Nilsson leveled the score after the Sharks went down early in the game before Kelvin score off a free-kick just outside the box. Chris continued his good form in front of goal by scoring Sharks third after a good flick from Heng Li as the team leads 3-1 at half-time. Kit added the team's fourth from a corner kick by Jeffrey before the opposition scored an own goal after some good pressure from Heng Li. Kelvin capped a memorable afternoon by netting Sharks sixth goal of the match.

Sharks will take a break next week and return to league action on 1 October against Poseur United.
