Narrow loss for Elias Park

Fellow promoted side, Elias Park will be cursing their luck as they fell to a late goal against PUB on Saturday with only 5 minutes left of regulation time. League favorites Sunrise Place opened their accounts with a 3-2 win over Summerville FC at Tanglin with Jaly Jelani grabbing a brace.

Another early favorites Tiong Bahru kept a clean slate against Redhill Rangers with a 2-0 victory with goals from Rahaizad and Musyadi while Singapore Power and Sporting Westlake played to a 6 goals affair as the former came out winners with a 4-2 win at Tanglin 3.

Next Saturday, Elias Park will face off against Crescent Villa at Meridian JC and Sunrise hosting Redhill Rangers at Tanglin 1. Summerville will be looking to get their season back on track after their opening day defeat as they host Singapore Power at Farrer Park. Over at the PUB Ground, Sporting Westlake will face off against PUB while Tiong Bahru will be looking to get their 2nd consecutive win against the Sharks at Tanglin 2.
