With the festivities coming round the corner, the Sharks go into this game wanting nothing less than a win before they go on a 2 week break. But it was not the start they wanted when they went down to 2 goals in the space of 10mins. With the deficit, they let themselves a mountain to climb but at the end of the first half, the Sharks were 3-2 up with goals 2 goals from Azman and another from Suhaime just before the break. The Sharks further extended their lead to 5-2 in the second-half through Azman and Jiawen before the Vietnamese team narrowed down the deficit after Azman brought down the opponent in the penalty box to 5-3. The Vietnamese continued to pile the pressure on the Sharks but further goals from Brendan and 2 own goals sealed the win the Sharks were looking for to reverse the result in favour of the Sharks after they went down 3-4 in their first encounter earlier this year.
