Exciting challenges ahead
13/07/06

At the end of the final whistle at this weekend game, two exciting challenges awaits the Sharks as they embark on their maiden challenge in ESPZEN league which kicks off on 23 July and in between that, they will compete in the annual Islandwide League organised by the FAS after an almost 3 year await which is slated to start right after Hari Raya in November.

Prior arrangements have been made for Sharks fixtures to be suspended in November in the ESPZEN challenge to accomondate the team’s participation in the annual FAS competition to decide the team that will be joining up in the National Football League Division 3 in 2007. On top of the suspension of games in November, two more dates which fall on 24 September and 22 October have been slated as rest day by the management.

As per previous year, the make-up of the team is still unknown but it’s certain that the teams that were relegated from Division 3 this year will somewhat form part of the competition to justify their place. The only grouse to this whole arrangements however is while details is still sketchy, Sharks have to be prepared to play on a Saturday fixture for the competitions.
