The defeat meant that the Sharks have now gone 3 games without a win despite a blistering start of 4 wins in the league and they are still stuck in 6th position with 12 points.

Cosmos took the lead off a corner 15mins before half-time before Heng Li leveled the score with a typical finish. He was unlucky earlier on after his shot struck the woodwork when Cosmos custodian was caught off the line. The teams ended the game leveled at half-time. Sharks however were shell-shocked at the start of the second-half when they conceded two quick goals, one from a shot that crept in Isa's near post and the next, yet another fumble from Isa off a free-kick. Cosmos handed the Sharks a lifeline however when Arun's long throw was headed in by their defender. With the score at 2-3, the Sharks had every chance to level the game yet again but alas, the damage was done and another 3 goals which included a penalty conceded by Salihin who was lucky to stay on the field was enough to snuff any chance of a comeback from the Sharks.

On another note, the match featured the comeback of Irman after a long absence to bolster the Sharks defence. On top of that, the Sharks included the likes of Zhenxiong, Ivan and Syafiee to bolster the team after the trio have impressed in the reserves games. The Sharks will now look forward to the next game by welcoming the likes of team captain Jeremy, Zaidi, Norazman, Michael and Sarhan who was missing in this game to end their run of defeats.
