After several weeks of disappointment, Sharks finally came off their shell firing OCBC for seven with a brace from Heng Li and Sam and a goal from Michael. The other 2 goals were scored by OCBC manager Phuc, who had a nightmarish outing and couldn't hide his disappointment when he substituted himself after scoring his second for the Sharks. After the game, he jokingly said, 'Maybe I should have donned the Sharks jersey'.

While the Sharks were happy with the scoreline, they had a few scares especially in the second half when torrential rain made the bounce of the ball difficult to predict for the defence. However, they stood stoutly to accomplished only their first clean-sheet of the tournament.
