Captain to miss crucial tie

Central Park will be without their captain Jeremy Chua as they seek to leapfrog Elias Park, who will only play their next game on Sunday in tonight’s game against Westridge at Meridian Junior College. Jeremy who have started in all prior 3 games will be ruled out in view of Saturday’s showdown with Jalan Damai. Alongside him will be Zulkifli Awab who will serve one of his two match suspensions after his sending off last weekend.

‘He is not in the squad so that he can rest his sore knee and it’s nothing serious. Just a precaution,’ said the manager.

Jeremy’s and Zul’s absence will probably mean a start for Norazman who had to sit out last Saturday. At the same time, the manager could probably hand in debuts to the new recruits which was signed in time for the game tonight.
